The last appearance of a Strawberry Moon (when Summer Solstice coincides with a full moon) was in 1967, the Summer of love, my birth year! No wonder I'm wide awake basking in the lightest night of the year, following the lightest day. The next Strawberry Moon will be in 46 years... We abandoned GoldenYoga HQ and saluted the setting sun as the full moon rose in a pink sky on Walthamstow Marsh this evening.

There's a workshop at GoldenYoga E17 10am -12noon on Sunday 26th June if its fine we may even head to the local nature reserve,
